Crowded speaking calendar in March and April: Banja Luka (Bosnia), Bihac (Bosnia) and Rovinj (Croatia), packed in just three weeks. Some business track sessions, some dev-talk and a lot of SharePoint and Azure. Sounds like fun.<\/p>\n

Microsoft Bosnia and Herzegovina is organizing the first Microsoft Network<\/strong> conference in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on March 16-18th <\/strong>2011.<\/strong> I\u2019ll be speaking in the business track (yes, you read it well \u2013 the business track<\/em>), but nevertheless with an interesting topic: \u201cIs there a software which changes the company culture (or: Why would I need SharePoint at all?)<\/em>\u201d. I will talk about the impact which SharePoint has on the company culture, if used properly. And, the proper using depends as much on the set of mind as on the technology. I will also talk about possible mouse-traps which can occur during the implementation of SharePoint projects. I am definitely looking forward to it <\/p>\n

Immediately after Microsoft Network, actually, only a day later (18.03.), I will be speaking to the .NET User Group Bihac, which is an INETA member. I will be talking with UG Bihac developers about the purpose of the SharePoint development – why would they develop on the SharePoint platform at the first place? What does it bring to them as developers? This won\u2019t be a classic session, where only the speaker talks, and the others are asking themselves if they should ask a question \u2013 I\u2019ll try to engage the group in a discussion. These are funny and challenging times for the developers as well, things are changing much faster than anyone of us likes (even if we would never admit it, of course).<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve just heard from the people from UG Bihac that this session will be live-streamed as well. I\u2019ll post the link as soon as I know it.<\/p>\n

And, at the beginning of April, WinDays<\/strong>. This year again in Rovinj<\/strong>, Croatia. One of the largest and the most important European Microsoft conferences. Just today I\u2019ve received confirmation that my session, \u201cIntegrating Azure data in SharePoint<\/strong>\u201d has been confirmed. There is not really much to tell about WinDays \u2013 who hasn\u2019t been there should do it ASAP. Conference is taking place in a great environment \u2013 beautiful Mediterranean city of Rovinj. A bunch of great people (estimated 3000), great parties, and, yes, great sessions. WinDays is not really only a conference, it\u2019s the whole event. Even if I am quite a regular WinDays speaker, I am every time thrilled to be there. So, if you are there too, fell free to contact me, I\u2019ll never reject a glass of good Istrian wine and a joke about SharePoint <\/p>\n
