Last but\nnot least: each and every company is about processes. Those processes can be\nrelated to the line of business, or it can be backend processes, but regardless\nof that, it is one of the cornerstones of modern work. And, as such, of modern\nworkplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The story\nis not new. Information Technologies are helping industry to solve this problem\nthrough some sort of forms and workflows since decades now. It was Microsoft\nwho first went into all-in standardization of those technologies for the\nenterprises, with InfoPath and SharePoint Workflows, back in early 2000s.\nSharePoint, as we see, was a natural host for forms, and for workflows, since\nthe day one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the\ntimes change, the requirements, the technologies, and \u2013 foremost \u2013 the\nexpectations of the employees change. They now want to work from everywhere,\nfrom any device, anytime. Rendering InfoPath forms, hosted in a classic\nSharePoint site, outside of the company network, is pretty much an impossible\nthing to achieve today. Sticking to IE11 to \u201cpreserve\u201d the standardization of\nthe \u201cmodern workplace\u201d, what lot of companies are doing, is not helping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft\nhas realized that with the new SharePoint modern interface, available for\nSharePoint Online and SharePoint Server 2019. Furthermore, with PowerApps and\nFlow, there are new forms and workflow solutions to support these requirements.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This way,\nboth resident and mobile employees can easily participate in all the processes\ninside (and outside!) the company, regardless of the location and the device\nthey are working on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
