You are annoyed with entering your CodePlex username and password, each time when you open your Visual Studio, if CodePlex is set as your default TFS? Me too.<\/p>\n

Luckily, there is a simple trick which helps you: Windows Credentials Manager.<\/p>\n

Open the Windows Credentials Manager (Control Panel \u2013> User Accounts \u2013> Manage your credentials), and add (at least) TWO<\/span><\/strong> Windows Credentials in your Windows Vault:<\/p>\n

tfs.codeplex.com \u2013> your username and password<\/span><\/p>\n

yourproject.codeplex.com \u2013> your username and password.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you have more than one project on the CodePlex, add them respectively in the Credentials manager.<\/p>\n
