Now, this is going to be one of those blog posts, that are very pleasant to write: the second edition of SharePoint and Project Conference Adriatics (www.spcadriatics.com) is finished, and we are still overwhelmed with the feedback. 230 visitors, 2 days of content, 30 speakers, 44 sessions in 4 tracks, with the overall rating of 4.45 – the numbers speak for themselves.
Two years ago, when Nenad, Toni and I came to an idea, to make a SharePoint conference in Zagreb (Croatia), it all seamed somehow unrealistic and somewhat as an adventure. But the first edition, one-day conference which attracted 150 attendees, gave us the inspiration to go for the second one. It was Zagreb again, on November 27th and 28th this year. There was again a cool speaker lineup, lead by Agnes Molnar, Sahil Malik, Dan Holme, Penny Coventry, Mike Fitzmaurice, Erica Toelle, Paolo Pialorsi, Martina Grom, Daniel Wessels and all the others, whose sessions carried the conference from the beginning to the end.
Daniel Wessels has pulled a great show in the keynote, leading the audience through 13 years of the SharePoint history, and bringing us back in the time, when we were doing the things on a very much different way then we are doing it today.
44 sessions and 850 cups of coffee later, we all felt tired and proud in the same time. Kudos to all the speakers: they did a great job! Special thanks goes to Sahil Malik. He did it again – top three SPC Adriatics sessions were all Sahil’s sessions. The guy is a natural born conference speaker. Two sessions of Dan Holme are completing SPC Adriatics top five.
Of course, of course, of course, second big thanks must go to our sponsors. We would not be able to pull it without them. Hey guys from deroso, eVision, NINTEX, tecmasters, Acceleratio, LOBO DMS, Perpetuum, K2, Microsoft, O’Reily and PluralSight – we would not be able to pull it without you, so again a big, big thanks.
See you next year, at the SPC Adriatics 2014
